- Product concept, how bets and confidence are presented, and the UX for exploring the best plays.
Background
The problem
There's endless football data and odds, but finding the genuinely good bets in it is slow and mostly guesswork.
The idea
A tool that does the scanning for you and surfaces the best bets, value plays with clear reasoning and confidence, across the whole slate of matches.
How it works
- 01
Every prediction carries the model version that produced it, so a forecast can be traced back to the thing that made it rather than to the app in general.

Runs are scheduled and the next one is published on the page, alongside how old the result and odds data are.
- 03
The accuracy record is published in full, settled bets and all, with the sample size next to it and a plain statement when the sample is still too small to conclude anything. The log is hash chained, and it says so on the page when the chain breaks.

It only flags a value signal when the odds diverge clearly from the model, so most days it recommends nothing at all, which costs engagement and is the point.

- Finding value is the product, a prediction alone isn't a bet.
- Honest confidence builds more trust than a big number.
Next steps
- Repair the broken hash chain, which the page currently reports honestly at row 2 rather than hiding.
- Let the settled sample grow large enough to say anything about the model at all.
Business potential
Sports bettors actively pay for an edge. Subscription model with tiers by depth, coverage and alert speed.
