What I built
Concept, the 3D globe experience, and the interaction model from the whole-planet atlas down to a single live feed.
Earth Now Live

Key decisions

  • Decision 1

The globe is the interface: exploration over search.

  • Decision 2

Lead with atmosphere; the planet has to feel alive before any feature.

  • Decision 3

One tap from the whole Earth to a single street, with nothing in the way.

Live moments, ranked from sun position and local time at each camera: sunrise on Maho Beach, Los Angeles after dark.
