Lovable
- What I built
- Concept, the 3D globe experience, and the interaction model from the whole-planet atlas down to a single live feed.

Background
The problem
The world is full of live moments, a night market, a quiet coastline, wildlife at a waterhole, but they are scattered across thousands of feeds no one can find. There is no single, beautiful place to just be somewhere else, right now.
The idea
One cinematic globe you can spin and drop into: live views from cities, coasts and wild places around the world, surfaced as glowing points of life on a real-time Earth.
Key decisions
- Decision 1
The globe is the interface: exploration over search.
- Decision 2
Lead with atmosphere; the planet has to feel alive before any feature.
- Decision 3
One tap from the whole Earth to a single street, with nothing in the way.
How I built it
- 01
Built an interactive 3D Earth as the home screen, not a menu.
- 02
Placed live feeds as glowing hotspots you explore by spinning the globe.
- 03
Designed the drop-in: from planet, to place, to a single live moment.
- 04
Kept the mood cinematic and dark so the live views are the light.
What came of it
What I learned
- A strong spatial metaphor beats a list: people will explore a globe for fun.
- In an immersive product, restraint and mood are the core features.
Next steps
- Let people save and follow places, so the globe remembers what you keep coming back to.
Business potential
A calm, cinematic window on the world has broad, sticky appeal: ambient screens, travel discovery, and a premium tier for curation and higher-quality live feeds.
Happy to walk through the thinking, the trade-offs and where it's headed next.
